Staff excellent, rooms clean & modern, great breakfasts, & value for budget. Front desk helpful, arranging excursions, transfers & early breakfasts. Owner and sister extremely kind & hardworking, recommending restaurants, ziplines, coffee plantation visit. Accommodation clean, functional & cute. Two women running B&B were nice & helpful, organizing tours & explaining activities. Recommended for a holiday in Monteverde.

With a central yet quiet location, Mountain Faro Hotel provided us with excellent service and value during our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated having a fridge and safe. The shower was spacious and had good water pressure. The hostess, Lady, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and provide helpful recommendations for dining and tours. The breakfast was delicious and made to order. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the room being darker than we preferred and the initial firmness of the bed, our overall experience at Mountain Faro Hotel was memorable and we highly recommend it. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a great stay.

Two things I liked about the hotel were the breakfast and the cleanliness. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made every day. They had many options to choose from and it was served in a timely manner. The rooms were also kept clean and tidy. The location of the hotel was in a quiet area, perfect for those looking to escape the noise of the city.
The worst aspects of this hotel were the uncomfortable beds and the distance from town. The beds were hard and not very comfortable to sleep on.

The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the staff was extremely helpful in recommending excursions and arranging transportation for us. the location was perfect for those who want a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Plus, the rooms were spotless and the Wi-Fi connection was strong.
That getting to the town center required a bit of effort as it involved walking up and down a hill. it was worth it for the tranquility and the beautiful views.

The hotel's location is convenient for those who want to stay close to the hustle and bustle of town, as it's not far from the center. It's located down a steep hill that could be challenging for some, but for others, it's a great way to get some exercise while exploring nearby attractions. the rooms and bathrooms are spacious, comfortable, and kept clean by the friendly staff. Guests can enjoy a good breakfast in the morning, and there are facilities such as a small fridge in the room that can come in handy.
The parking space is minimal and limited, which could create inconvenience for those driving.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, as it is not far from the center of town and we were able to walk down the steep hill easily. The hotel facilities were very good and we were able to park our car without any problem. The breakfast was delicious and made to order. We also loved the staff who were really friendly and helped us book tours. The cleanliness of the room was excellent and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay.
Nothing at all.

This hotel was a great value for the price we paid. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities we needed. The staff was super friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted in our room. The location was ideal - on a hill just out of town, within a short walking distance from the town centre. We could easily catch the zipline park bus and also took a taxi to the biological reserve. The breakfast was made to order with delicious options, including toast, scrambled eggs, fruit, orange juice, and coffee. The internet was good and the beds were very comfortable.
All was more than satisfactory.

Our stay at Mountain Faro was fantastic! The room was clean, modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was the warm and welcoming service we received from the staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and provided valuable recommendations for exploring the area. The breakfast was delicious, and the homemade omelette was a definite highlight. The only slight drawback was the uphill walk to the city center, but it was manageable and worth it for the peaceful location. I highly recommend Mountain Faro for a great value and excellent service.
